The advertising sector is expected to continue to grow new jobs at a rate of 14% from now until 2020, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Call it the “Mad Men Effect.” Advertising isn’t for the faint of heart as this highly competitive industry attracts plenty of top talent across the county primarily because of the high profile cache this glamour profession offers.
That’s the bad news. The good news is once you’ve decided to launch a career in advertising you can have a say in the national conversation, shape worldwide opinions and even make people laugh or cry while getting paid.
While the U.S. Bureau of Labor recently forecasts average growth for the advertising industry, advertising that focuses on high growth sectors (Health Care and Sciences) will keep pace with the growth in those industries.
