While online and part-time degree programs have helped many people with busy lives earn their degree, it pays to do your research. Some programs, called “degree mills,” accept an application fee and mail you your diploma without any coursework needed. While this quick-and-easy way toward graduation may sound appealing, not only are these schools unaccredited and phony, but they’re also illegal.
