New York Automotive & Diesel Institute (ADI) offers career focused training, helping students to give their love for the automotive industry a new direction.

The Institute specifically caters to those students who want to excel in the automobile industry. It offers exclusive training in three courses, which are:

  • Automotive Technician
  • Truck and Diesel
  • Collision Repair

The Institute welcomes students who do not have a high school diploma or graduation degree. This means it can lead you to a high octane career no matter what your educational background has been.

Accreditation Details

The institute has received regional accreditation from NATEF (National Institute for Automotive Services Excellence) and ADI, which has an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification too.

Admissions

For taking admission into the specified courses of New York Automotive and Diesel Institute, you have to complete and submit a form that is available at the Institute. But, as mentioned before, any student who holds the passion as well as determination to do their best in the automobile industry is eligible to apply in any of the three mentioned courses.

There are various programs offered under each course that is completed in a specific duration.

  • Certified Automotive Technician (completes in 8 to 12 months)
  • Master Automotive and Diesel Technician (completes in 15 to 24 months)
  • Master Certified Automotive Technician (completes in 12 to 18 months)
  • Certified Truck and Diesel Technician (completes in 8 to 18 months)
  • Master Automotive Truck and Diesel Technician (completes in 15 to 24 months)
  • Master Truck and Diesel Technician (completes in 12 to 18 months)
  • Collision Repair (completes in 12 to 18 months)

Costs

Full time classes being once every three weeks, students have the flexibility to choose their desired course, and get ready to work on it. ADI even comes up with part-time course allowing students to get the ease of managing studies and work as well.

The application fee for the institute is $50, and each intake enrolls 330 students, as per the availability of seats. It even grants Federal aid and fee waivers for eligible students that satisfy the criteria for scholarships. It provides provision for direct loans and other financial help for selected students, as well.
