College Profile: Lincoln Tech

General Information

Lincoln Tech’s first campus was built in 1946 in Newark, New Jersey, in order to help veterans coming home from the war to educate themselves and find a job that allows them to contribute to society. Now, 69 years later, Lincoln Tech has grown to 30 different campuses in 15 different states. They have a Diploma, Degree, and Certification program in order to continue helping people of all walks of life to find a job and career path that works for them, and allows them to be a productive member of society.

The curriculum is student-centered, and focuses on hands-on, career-specific skill set learning, so that students have the theoretical and practical knowledge that will be necessary in order to be truly successful in the field. They offer a variety of career paths and specialties, including automotive, medical technician, and spa technician. They want their students to be as educated in currently relevant jobs as possible. Because their main goal is to help their students, they offer extremely flexible schedules and pacing of classes, so that no matter if you have to work during the day, and take classes at night (or vice versa) you can be accommodated. You can take as many or as few classes at one time as you want to. The financial aid office is always available to help students figure out how they are going to pay for Lincoln Tech, and how to get a financial aid or payment plan that will work for them.

Admissions

The helpful admissions office will help any prospective student find and send in the necessary paperwork necessary to gain acceptance into the program. The school accepts students with a high school diploma into their program, whether a new high school graduate, or someone looking to change their career path later in life.
